Cabinet Design for Georgetown's Historic and Newer Homes

Georgetown kitchens range from 18th and 19th century houses near the town center to capes, ranches and newer builds on wooded lots. The house sets the rules for the cabinets, so our designers start there.

  • Antique colonials and farmhousesWalls and floors that are rarely level or square. Filler strips, scribe molding and inset or framed doors keep the kitchen in step with the original trim.
  • Capes and ranchesLow soffits and tight galley layouts are common. Taller uppers, a smarter corner and deeper drawers can add storage without moving a wall.
  • Transitional family kitchensShaker doors with a contrasting island color, pull-out spice and trash storage, and a pantry wall sized for real groceries.
  • New construction and open plansCabinets that run to the ceiling, panel-ready appliance fronts and an island that works for prep and for homework.

Showroom and process

A Full Design Showroom Minutes from Georgetown

Georgetown homeowners do not need to drive into Boston to see real kitchen displays. The Rowley showroom on Route 1 has all four cabinet lines on display, so you can open drawers, test soft-close hardware and hold door samples next to countertop slabs before you decide. Nothing gets ordered until you have approved a layout and a line-by-line price. Every stage is on our kitchen design process page.

  1. Free consultation

Sit down with a designer at the showroom to talk through how you use the kitchen, what bothers you about it now and what you want to spend. Your designer measures the room so the plan fits the walls you actually have.

  2. Design and pricing

Your designer draws the layout and prices it item by item on the line you choose. Photorealistic 3D renderings are part of our paid design service, so you see finishes and hardware before you approve anything.

  3. Order with dates in writing

Once you approve the plan, the order goes to an American plant on the lead time for your line. You get the delivery window before anything is placed, so your contractor can book the trades around it.

  4. Delivery and install

We do not install directly. We work with your contractor, or refer an installation crew we trust, and deliver on the date your job site is ready. Your installer gets full cabinet specifications, so nobody is guessing about what was ordered.

Showroom hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. See every step on our process page.

Cabinet lines

Which cabinet line fits your Georgetown kitchen?

Homecrest fits most Georgetown kitchens built on standard cabinet widths. Antique homes with walls that do not measure out usually need the sizing of Mid Continent or Omega, and Mantra suits a tight schedule or a rental unit. All four are built in the USA by MasterBrand and all four are on display in Rowley. Our cabinet brand comparison goes deeper on each one.

Value

Mantra

Our fastest and most affordable line, with a focused set of clean-line doors and finishes. A good fit for a quick refresh, a basement kitchenette or an investment property.

  • Lead time: 2 to 4 weeks
  • Standard sizes
Semi-custom

Homecrest

The line we recommend most. Recessed panel, Shaker, slab and inset doors in painted and stained finishes, with soft-close hardware standard. Built for busy family kitchens and mudrooms.

  • Lead time: 5 to 8 weeks
  • Limited lifetime warranty
Semi-custom

Mid Continent Signature

Heavier construction and quarter-inch sizing. Often the answer in an older Georgetown kitchen where the walls land between standard widths.

  • Lead time: 7 to 9 weeks
  • Quarter-inch sizing

How long does each cabinet line take to arrive?

Weeks from order to delivery. Design comes first and is not part of this clock.

Countertops and baths

Quartz and Granite Countertops for Georgetown Kitchens

Seacoast Cabinet sells countertops as well as cabinets, so the door finish and the stone get chosen in the same sitting, under the same light. That removes one of the most common delays in a kitchen project, which is waiting on a second vendor to measure and quote.

We carry Cambria, Silestone and Caesarstone quartz, plus granite, quartzite, marble, butcher block, laminate and solid surface. See the full range on our countertops page, or weigh the tradeoffs in our quartz vs granite vs marble comparison. The same four cabinet lines also cover bathroom vanities, so a primary bath can match the kitchen.

Questions

Georgetown Kitchen Cabinet FAQs

How far is Seacoast Cabinet from Georgetown, MA?

About a 15-minute drive. The showroom is at 300 Newburyport Turnpike, Unit 3, on Route 1 in Rowley, the town just east of Georgetown. The address and hours are in the visit section at the bottom of this page.

What cabinet lines do you carry for Georgetown kitchens?

Four American-made MasterBrand lines: Mantra for value and speed, Homecrest and Mid Continent Signature for semi-custom, and Omega for premium custom work. All four are on display in Rowley. Browse them on our kitchen cabinets page.

How long does it take to get kitchen cabinets in Georgetown?

It depends on the line. From order to delivery, Mantra takes 2 to 4 weeks, Homecrest 5 to 8 weeks, Mid Continent Signature 7 to 9 weeks and Omega 9 to 12 weeks. Design happens before that clock starts, and you get your delivery window in writing before you order.

Do you offer 3D kitchen designs?

Yes. Photorealistic 3D renderings are part of our design service, so you see your layout, finishes and hardware before you approve an order. The first consultation is free, and current design service details are on the design services page.

How much do kitchen cabinets cost for a Georgetown home?

Starting prices for each line are published on our budget planner, based on a sample kitchen, cabinets only. Four things move your number: the size of the kitchen, the line, the door style and finish, and how much interior storage you add.

Do you install the cabinets?

We do not install directly. We work with your contractor, or refer an installation crew we trust, and we time delivery to the day your job site is ready.

Can you work with my Georgetown contractor or builder?

Yes. Builders, remodelers and interior designers bring clients to us regularly, and several of our Google reviews come from them. Your builder gets complete specifications and direct access to your designer. For several units, see our multi-unit kitchen cabinets page.

Do you reface existing cabinets?

No, we do not offer refacing. If your cabinet boxes are sound and the layout works, cabinet refinishing gives them a new finish in place. If not, new cabinets from one of our four lines are the better route.
